Welcome!
I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at Bocconi University (Inspire and Dondena research centers, PI: Nicoletta Balbo) and an affiliated researcher at KU Leuven and UniTo. My research lies at the intersection of family demography, the sociology of the family, and applied microeconomics. I am particularly interested in understanding how family environments shape the outcomes of children and adult family members, with a focus on family instability, same-sex parenting, and child disability.
I obtained my Ph.D. in Economics at KU Leuven as a member of the LEER research group (supervisors: Kristof De Witte and Deni Mazrekaj). In my Ph.D. thesis, I examined the role of nontraditional family compositions (e.g. same-sex families, divorced families) in driving children's outcomes. During my PhD, I visited Oxford University (host: Christiaan Monden).
